Same same, but different - this looks like the same pic from Saturday but it is not!
Today we welcomed 1st Responders from Germany for a celebratory cruise after running the ! .firefighter.runner ran the Hamburg marathon with some Chicago Firefighters and Police, so now it was our turn to host and show them around our fantastic city! No better place to do it other than on the Fireboat!

📣 sound on for fun facts, horns and sirens 🚨 May 4 is a big day in the life of the Fred A. Busse! May 4, 1937 the Fireboat was commissioned with the Chicago Fire Department, starting her 44 years of service until retirement in 1981. ALSO… May 4th, 2019 was the day our Navy Veteran Owners & Captains returned the Busse to the Chicago waterways once again! We didn’t know it at the time until we learned more of the boats amazing history, it was just a wild coincidence these 2 events landed on the same date! Thanks to all those who have joined us in this journey so far, we appreciate your support! We’re cruising all weekend with this beautiful weather, come for a cruise and cheers to 86 years! Thanks to our friends at Engine 2 for a nice little water salute today as we went by!
