Happy Giving Tuesday! You know the drill, we do the annual Chicago Dia de los Niños Parade and Celebration where we also bestow scholarships to outstanding students. We decorate, all handmade decorations, the "Mexico"tree at the Museum of Science and Industry Christmas Around the World exhibit, and we love to participate in the Arts in the Dark parade. Yesterday the Chicago Dia de los Niños participated in an spectacular event, the Arts in the Dark parade. We could not have done it without our village. We want to thank Victor Soria , Albert Ramirez, Juan Hernandez, Omar Mendoza, Johnny Hernández, Leonor Ramirez and all the members and volunteers. I was so surprised at the strong positive reception from the audience. Our "Las Abuelitas" unit theme resonated with the spectators.
