Great property for our large family reunion
I really wanted to find a cabin/lodge property in a beautiful rural location that could accommodate 20 family members. My parents were meeting their new great-grandson for the first time and I wanted a scenic, roomy, yet warm and cozy place to gather from 5 states for this special occasion. From 80 years old to 10 months old, this was the perfect place. We cooked all our meals there, had a weiner roast and smores around the outdoor fire pit, played games around the large dining table, and gathered around the fireplace for conversation. There was plenty of great flat outdoor space for the kids to play football and run around, and the hot tub was nice in the cool evenings. The owner was very helpful giving us a tour of everything upon arrival, and kindly returned a lost item for us as well. Tranquil, gorgeous scenery surrounding the entire property. A lovely place to create lasting memories.

Wonderful Relaxing Retreat
The lodge was very comfortable for my brothers surprise 50th birthday. Relatives of all ages came from different parts of the country. The great room was spacious and comfortably accommodated family meals, games and conversation. Two kitchens was a plus for cooking for large groups. The views from the lodge are vast and scenic.

Great Family Gathering Place
We loved the roominess and of the lodge and the great room/den. We had 15 family members that included our 4 small grandchildren. We spent hours around our campfire and the hot tub was super - even though the temp was in the upper twenties. Jon was super and came by everyday to check on us. Great stay and we hope to be back soon.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS VACATION!!!
We vacationed here for a quick weekend getaway to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We had 19 people! 12 were teenagers. I can't express enough how perfect this rental was for our family. The lodge has plenty of room for everyone to hang out and be together in one area. We cooked all of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. (and you need a lot to cook for 19 people!)
We hung out at the pool everyday. If you have a large group, I would suggest bringing a few beach chairs and rafts because there are not enough chairs for a large group. We did bring our own and there is plenty of patio space around the pool to place chairs. The pool was very clean and the temperature was perfect.
The sleeping accommodations were great. With a large group, we had to be a little flexible on who slept where, but we fit everyone. There is plenty of bedding for all beds.
Keeping in mind that this is a cabin, not the Ritz, I thought it was very, very clean. The pictures of all rooms and the outside views are all very accurate.
I think our favorite part (besides the large gathering area) were the views! Truly breathtaking views and the wrap-around porch was perfect for coffee in the morning or for cocktails at night!
Jon was very, very easy to work with and is great at responding to emails.
We did not have any problems staying here and I would highly, highly recommend this rental property.
