National Guinea Pig Day!

The guinea pig is a species that shares a millenary history with the civilizations of ancient Peru. Its participation has been essential in different cultures, which today we can learn more about in tours throughout the country.

In Peru, it is known as cuy, but it also receives other names such as cavy, domestic cavy, domestic guinea pig and more. What is it usually called in your country?
