A new batch of delicious bread was delivered to us today from our partnership with The Break Room at GRTS! We couldn't be more excited to offer souvenir loaves of bread at The Welcome Center for $3. You do not want to miss these delicious loaves. Stop by today during our usual hours to get yours!

Our escape room officially has a new record! This awesome, fun team from Housing Block 3 at the Chillicothe Correctional Center stopped by as part of their holiday outing. Thanks for the great response to our Holly Jolly Trolley Tours. We are all sold out for the season! Check back next holiday season for more opportunities to ride our great trolley!

Additionally, people have asked about booking a private tour. Private tours are $200 an hour for up to 30 people but are down to limited availability this holiday season. Please call 660-240-0093 during our normal hours or email us to discuss private tours.

You don't need to pick up physical tickets if you bought tickets for the Holly Jolly Trolley tours. As long as you receive your confirmation email, you are on the nice list - just show up on your assigned date to check in for the tour. We apologize for any confusion - thanks and see you soon!

What a great community we live in! Last night a kind soul noticed some unsightly weeds near our building and took their time and effort to pull them. Bread is back! Our partnership with The Break Room at GRTS has restarted this school year. We are excited to offer souvenir loaves of bread at The Welcome Center for $3. We taste tested this delicious cinnamon bread with our morning coffee and it was amazing. Stop by during our regular hours to get yours.

History in the Baking!
Going through some archival photos and these two show the Chillicothe Baking Company in its prime—Frank Bench is even pictured on the right. While it may not be very recognizable, you can come see this place that made its mark on history!

This entire week we are celebrating Chillicothe’s slice of history, the invention of sliced bread on July 7, 1928. Stop by the Home of Sliced Bread at 100 Elm Street in Chillicothe this weekend to discover more about the story. We are open Friday until 5 and Saturday from 9-2.
