We are hidden for a reason and cherish the privacy and solitude at Peace, Love, & Ponies. Our home is exceptionally private for the island with no neighbors visible from the inside of the home or rear decks/screened porch, and our two nice neighbors only come down a few times a year. Our home can only be seen from the water. We are down at the end of an unpaved, twisty lane where the road ends at the marsh. There is no water access from the property, as the Black Point Marsh lies between us and the open water. The views are unobstructed and private, but you can’t touch water. There are boat and Kayak launch areas nearby, but our favorite thing to do on the water is take a local Pony Boat Tour. Our favorite activities are watching ponies, birds, deer, and other wildlife from the home and deck, enjoying the peace and quiet, gazing at the night sky, hanging with our Vizslas on the porch, and taking in the views! The home is furnished with an artfully eclectic and delightfully PONYLICIOUS décor with a curated mix of new and vintage. The Basics:
Peace, Love and Ponies has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a loft with a full-sized sleeper sofa and twin day bed. The "Rocketpony Master" and "Sunshine Daydreams Loft" are on the second floor with a spacious shared bathroom, and the first floor has the "Zen Retreat" bedroom and a separate brand-new spa bath off the kitchen. The main level has a great room with dining area and open kitchen. There are beautiful water views from every room. A new deck was just added in the front to catch sunrises, watch dogs in the yard, and create a landing pad for loading in. This is a two-story elevated home, so it is one flight up and not handicapped accessible. The entry stairs do have a "dogleg" turn for safety and ease of accessibility. We comfortably accommodate 6-7 people (a list of guests with names and ages is required in advance). No primary renters under age 25.
