About Hardwired Charters LLC
Whether you are an experienced fisherman or looking to experience fishing for the first time we can help. We pride ourselves in going the extra mile for our customers (some days quite literally!) and will custom tailor each charter to reflect your wishes. Before your trip you will discuss the details with Captain Mike who has been fishing the waters off of Chincoteague and Assateague for over 30 years.
Hardwired Charters specializes in inshore day/night shark fishing trips and around the island flounder fishing. We will provide all bait and tackle. Feel free to bring your own if you prefer! We offer 3 and 4 hour trips as well as all day. Night time shark fishing is minimum of 4 hours.
Tackle for inshore shark fishing includes brand new Daiwa BG 6500 reels, 30 lb mono line, custom 450 lb shark leaders, as well as up to 3 different types of chum. Our chum mix will put scent out miles from the boat!
Tackle for flounder croaker, kingfish and other species include Penn fierce reels along with Ugly stix Gx2 rods. 20 lb mono is also used. All flounder rigs are custom made.
