Here is an event that everyone looks forward to during fall round up weekend Darcy Cole‘s 2024 Foal Season in review. Admission to this presentation is $10 per person, call or stop by the Museum to secure your ticket. 757-336-6117. The next Tuesday Night Lecture will be great for the whole family! Learn about and meet some incredible creatures for the Chincoteague Bay. This lecture is being presented by the Chincoteague Bay field station at the Museum of Chincoteague Island. The presentation will begin at 6 PM at 7125 Maddox Blvd. please call the Museum at 757-336-6117 to make your reservations for this presentation.

Admission will be eight dollars per person, active duty military, and their families will be admitted for free, as well as children 12 and under and Museum members

9:00am daily tour through the downtown. History, ponies, legends and more. Tours run approx. 1 1/2 hours in length $20 per person, children under 10 are free.

7:00pm daily tour through the downtown. Legends and lore, pirates, shipwrecks, ponies and a few ghosts are thrown in. Tours run approx. 1 1/2 hours in length $20 per person, children under 10 are free. (Some scary tales but still family friendly)

Beebe Ranch Tours: This year, the Beebe Ranch tours will be a collaboration between the Chincoteague Step Through Time Tours and the Museum of Chincoteague Island. Tours dates will be announced here and on the museum's page. Tours are $25 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under

Assateague allows horseback riding Sept 1 through March 14. If the OSV is open there is an area that is open year around. Note, the OSV does close for nesting birds, so if you want to be sure you can ride on the beach, book in the off season.

Seahorse Shanty is open year around on a flex schedule. Book a weekend, book a week. Anything in between, it‘s up to you!

LETS RIDE!

Spring Roundup will take place on April 5th and 6th.

Southern Herd Roundup and vet checks will start at 4:30 p.m. at the Southern Corral. Plenty of parking nearby so get there early to see Riptide, Legacy, or Twist come in with their bands and hopefully a foal 🤞🏻.

Northern Herd Roundup will start around 6 am and requires a hike of about 3 miles to the northern corral. Typically it takes a few hours to complete if everyone cooperates.
