Get ready for a spine-chilling theatrical experience as Misery hits the stage at the Spanish Trail Playhouse starting May 17th. Written by William Goldman, and based on Stephen King's gripping thriller, this production promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats with its talented cast and captivating storyline.

Starring the formidable Tiffani Wolfe as Annie Wilkes, John Gibson as Paul Sheldon, and Doug Harrell as Buster the Sheriff, Misery boasts a stellar ensemble that brings King's iconic characters to life with precision and intensity. Under the expert direction of Kevin Russell, and with Tyler Sallas managing the stage, audiences can expect a seamless and gripping performance that stays true to the essence of King's masterpiece.

Please note that Misery is rated R for its depiction of extreme violence and mild adult language, making it suitable for audiences aged 13 and above.

Misery follows successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by his β€œnumber one fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home. While Paul is convalescing, Annie reads his latest book and becomes enraged when she discovers the author has killed off her favorite character, Misery Chastain. Annie forces Paul to write a new Misery novel, and he quickly realizes Annie has no intention of letting him go anywhere. The irate Annie has Paul writing as if his life depends on itβ€”and it does.

Performance Times:

Matinees: Saturday, May 18, 2024 and Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm daily
