As we ride, we'll experience: 🍂 Peak fall colors in the forest 🏔️ Beautiful and challenging terrain 🦫 Small lakes and beaver ponds 🦌 Tons of wildlife and spectacular views Did you know? Pocket-Sized Adventures: Fall Color Drive! 📍Chippewa County, WI This week we are going on a Fall Colir Drive to embrace the season! 🍂🚗 On the way we stopped at 2 📖 historical 📖 markers that teach us a bit more about the area! 📍Old Abe the War Eagle 📍The Cobban Bridge Then, we stopped at the old Pulpwood Stacker in Cornell, WI. It’s the last one in the WORLD! We also read more about the area history, specifically about: 🥾 Jean Brunet - A pioneer of the region who communicated often and well with the Native American population in the area. He had a well established trading post on the river. 🪵 The Pulpwood Stacker - The last Pulpwood Stacker to exist today in the world. Trees were converted into pulp using the stacker and eventually made into paper. 💁‍♂️ Ezra Cornell - He was the first mayor of Cornell and he never even lived in the town! 🏕️ Finally, our adventure ends at Brunet Island State Park where there is much natural beauty to enjoy in the dense tree cover of the forest. A beautiful place to visit year-round but especially in the Fall! Pocket-Sized Adventures: BINGO Knight! KC Hall 📍Chippewa Falls, WI Steps to Success: 1. Get there early to get a good spot! The doors open at 4pm, BINGO starts at 7pm. Depending on the size of the jackpot, the place can be PACKED! 2. Bring your own dobbers or buy them there! Also I recommend buying a 6 or 9 pack of cards, its better value and better odds! 3. Prep your BINGO cards before play begins. This makes it easier going from game to game to see if you’ve won! 4. 🌭🍰🥤Get food and drinks before the game begins if you haven’t eaten dinner already. There’s not a ton of time between games so if you’re full and ready beforehand that’s perfect. 5. 👯‍♀️Go with people who are FUN! The best times are had at the KC Hall when you’re with people you have fun with. 6. Remember that to win a BINGO the last number called has to be in your BINGO to win. Pocket-Sized Adventures: Grape Picking at River Bend Winery! 📍Chippewa Falls, WI Join us as we go pick grapes at River Bend Winery & Distillery! This unique opportunity only happens a few times a year depending on when the grapes are ready for harvest. We had BLAST going out and picking grapes. It’s also worth the volunteer hours because you are paid in breakfast, lunch, and two drink tickets! Try their new Cinnamon Whiskey out NOW!
