Goodbye 2024 and HELLO 2025!

Resolutions: let’s talk about ‘em! Who makes them? Who hates the pressure? If you are making a New Year’s resolution for 2025, share with us what you’re hoping to do, improve or continue to do. Whether you are making one or not, we think you’re absolutely magical either way!✨

It’s officially 2025 and there is going to be some ✨MAGICAL✨ things happening at Walt Disney World this year that you aren’t going to want to miss! A new villains show is coming to Hollywood Studios along with a new Little Mermaid Musical Adventure🌊. Test Track🏎will be reopening in EPCOT with that new car smell as its lengthy refurbishment comes to an end. A new nighttime parade is coming to Magic Kingdom along with a Pirates of the Caribbean inspired tavern☠. Over in Animal Kingdom, you’ll want to catch Dinosaur🦖 for one last roar and see the brand new Zootopia show. Which of these new offerings most makes you want to get a countdown rolling STAT?

My resolution is to bring more happiness into my life, and I do that by going to Disney World! What are you hoping to achieve this year? Or are you a no resolution type person? I want to hear about it!👂

How do you choose? 🛳Disney Cruise Line has taken “too much of a good thing” to new heights. Six ships (more on the way), all the different stateroom categories, 🏝2 gorgeous island destinations, dozens of itineraries, multiple ports...You know for a vacation that is THE DEFINITION of relaxation💆, the planning process can be stressful when you don’t have the time or energy to do the research. That’s where I come in!

There is so much to choose from, but it is important to find your perfect sailing. I love finding the perfect trip for you and your family. If you are curious about Disney Cruises, I can most definitely help you solidify the best plan for you!

Imagine for a second that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter didn’t exist and Epic Universe wasn’t even a twinkle in our eyes. 👁What else draws you to Universal Orlando Resort?

Sure, Harry Potter fans have plenty to love, but there’s so much more to Universal Orlando that makes it an incredible destination for everyone! 🦸Marvel Super Heroes, 🦖Jurassic World, Minion Land, Dreamworks Land, Seuss Landing, thrill rides galore and an immersion into movies through attractions and shows that you can’t find anywhere else.

On our last trip we couldn't get enough of Jurassic World, and had a ✨BLAST✨ over in Minion Land! Seriously, my son had so much fun at Camp Jurassic, we met a REAL (I swear it feels like it!) dinosaur that tried eating my sisters head, and went on a blasting mission with some Minions! Those were some of the best memories of our trip 🥰

Potter fan or not, what besides Harry do you love about Universal Orlando Resort? Universal Express Pass is totally a valid answer, because who doesn't love walking right onto rides?! I want to know all of your favorites, please share your memories (📷and photos!) in the comments! 😁

It’s not just me, right?😅 It’s a little weird that the movie Hocus Pocus was released in July, don’t you think? But here we are, celebrating it today AND we’ll do it all over again in October!🎃

We are a spooky-loving family.🧙‍♀️ I love Hocus Pocus, and my son might be an even bigger fan than me (though he prefers the sequel)! And we love visiting Walt Disney World during the fall and seeing all the Hocus Pocus touches. The movie may have come out in July, but it has become a fall necessity in our house.

But let’s NOT debate the movie, but what about the characters?🥰 We have TWO SETS now. Which do YOU prefer: the OG movie Sanderson Sisters or the Minnie, Daisy and Clarabell version?

On this day in 1995 the dreamiest of all dreamy wedding chapels opened up at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. 💍First off, has anyone gotten married here?! (Or been to a wedding here?) Is this a dream for anyone or one you have for your own princesses?

A Disney Wedding changed my entire life's trajectory! I was 11 when my cousin got married, right there in that beautiful chapel.🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️ It was my first taste of Disney and it completely changed me for the better. Many years later, I met my husband while working at Disney World. 🥰 Although we didn't have a Disney Wedding of our own, we did honeymoon there!

Okay, so obviously the wedding chapel at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is GOALS…but not the reality for many of us. But let’s talk weddings for Disney lovers. Who has snuck their love of Disney into their wedding ceremony and/or reception? (Bonus points for pictures!)

🦈In celebration of Shark Awareness Day, let’s shine the spotlight on one of EPCOT’s hidden gems – Bruce's Sub House at EPCOT’s SeaBase! 🐠This JAWSome playground is themed after the wanna-be friendly shark from Finding Nemo. It’s packed with interactive elements to teach kids while they play. And, it’s got a pretty epic photo-op!📷 If REAL sharks are your thing, they’re here too.

This pavilion is a giant indoor educational playground🛝 but also has plenty of space to decompress, check emails🧑‍💻 (a reality for many these days), post photos or just sit. This is definitely one of the favorite spots for the entire family.

👩I personally love being able to just sit and rest my feet in the second biggest aquarium in the United States, but I can attest from personal experience--the kids love Bruce's Sub House!

Which is the ✨BEST✨ Pool at Walt Disney World and why is it Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort? 🌊

Truthfully, anything wet will usually do for kids, but you deserve a pool that is just as exciting as the parks. Here’s why Stormalong Bay is hands-down the pool you’re looking for:
🏊‍♀️It’s not just a pool, it’s a 3-acre mini-water park! A lazy river for you, a shipwreck waterslide for them. Win-Win!
🏖It has a SAND-BOTTOM! All the benefits of the beach, but without the saltwater.
🍹Poolside snacks and drinks from Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill mean you never have to leave, which is great because the kids won’t want to.

One of my favorite Disney pool memories is floating down the lazy river 🌊at Stormalong Bay when I stayed at the Yacht Club Resort. It was relaxing, refreshing, and the best part--I didn't have to wait for any buses to take me there!

All this awesomeness does come at a deluxe price, but the pool alone (never mind the location) makes it worth the splurge! Anyone disagree? If so, which Walt Disney World pool gets YOUR vote for best on property? Let me know in the comments!

Hey parents, check this out! Just a little tip in case you didn’t know, there are a couple of opportunities for kids to enjoy ✨free✨ play (and even get wet) at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. I know the parks are giant playgrounds🛝 themselves, but there is the 🎪Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station, the Adventureland Tiki sprayers and spitting camel🐪 at Magic Kingdom as well as the new Journey of Water🌊 inspired by Moana and splash pads at EPCOT where getting drenched is bound to happen and be loads of fun.

My son LOVES the splashpads throughout Disney World! On his second trip, he was almost 2, and we had a hard time leaving the Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak station! 🎪It was a blast for him, cooled us both down, and made me so happy so see his giant smile!

So maybe pack an extra set of clothes👕🩳 for those water play areas so you don’t have to be the meanest parents in the whole world and say NO to splashing around at Walt Disney World because you’ve got dinner reservations. Anyone else's kids FLIP🤸 over any opportunity to get wet?

Early birds🐦 show yourselves! I’m not just talking about getting up to watch the sunrise🌅 on the ocean or to be the first in line at Magic Kingdom. If you also like to book and plan trips well in advance, stand up and take a bow! There are so many benefits to being an early bird. While I could list them out, they all have one thing in common-the feeling that you’re getting MORE for your money.💵 More time, more savings and more enjoyment. And when it comes to parting with your hard-earned money, more is what you’re after.

I am the early bird in my family, but I especially love planning a Disney trip early! It ✨only✨ takes a $200 deposit to keep my package reservation and I can add any deals that may come up. This makes it easy to know I will not have to scramble to make sure our reservations are in, but also gives me plenty of time to find the best deal! I have saved TONS of money booking early!💵

Do you know when Walt Disney World crowds can be the most manageable? During some of the hottest ☀️ months of the year! If you can handle the heat, here are some of the best places and some ways to avoid as Mater says, “dang near fainting”:

🍽Connections Eatery at EPCOT: This place is massive and a great place to sit and regroup, AND it has Starbucks!

🍕Upper level of PizzeRizzo at Hollywood Studios: Did you know there was an upper level?! There’s usually not many people up there, it’s nice and cool, there are lots of outlets to recharge your devices, and pizza!

🌬Cooling neck towels: A lifesaver when the sun is bearing down and moods are starting to wilt.

🗺A solid touring strategy: Rope drop, rest mid-day, come back for evenings (and schedule a table-service lunch for a break during the hottest time of day)

When my husband and I went for our honeymoon💍 in the heat of August, we used a lot of these strategies. Strategic pool breaks🏊, cooling towels, and knowing the closest place to sit in some air conditioning really helped keep our spirits up and our temperatures down! 🌡

Sharing about ✨FREE✨ and FUN just never gets old. At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and others (just ask when you check in if available at yours) there is a daily character hunt offered. Each day the resort’s mascot character is moved. 🔍Once you find it, take a photo with it and head to the front desk for your button and a location sticker. 👀Search high and low each day for four days to fill your button with stickers.

I am so excited to check these out on my next trip this summer! We are all about anything FREE to help lower those vacation costs! I bet a few of you would have a blast searching for these hidden characters!

Whenever you can spend more time enjoying the fabulous Disney resorts, you should! 🥰There’s nothing quite like staying inside the Disney bubble and you’ll get so much more from your visit when you work with a travel pro (like me) who knows how to elevate the magic. My family stayed at Dockside last April and we LOVED it! My son especially loved the splash pad 😂 The staff were super helpful and friendly, the food was delicious, and the pool was nice and relaxing. We are hoping to stay at Surfside next time we go to Universal Orlando!

Don’t miss out on some serious fun—and a bit of unplanned ✨magic✨ at the What If Labs! It's like having a play date at Figment’s house. Whether it's creating your own Figment (and emailing it to yourself), hopping on musical stepping stones, making melodies or taking fun photos, there's plenty to do while enjoying a break from the sun, rain and waiting in line.

😍If you didn't know, we are BIG Figment fans over here as my husband and I both worked at Journey Into Imagination With Figment (and had a Figment themed wedding cake🍰) Some of the most fun things to do at Epcot are hidden from the hustle and bustle of the park. The What If Labs is one of those hidden gems. There are unique and fun things for the family to enjoy in a indoor and air conditioned building!
