NHCS started out on 2 floors of a completely renovated 18th century barn, eventually expanding to all 3 floors.We have been opened for over 26 years now, and still going strong! We are so very pleased to be seeing a 2nd generation of young parents bringing their children in to "experience" a "step back in time" that they remembered from their childhood! We have plenty of parking in 2 lots to accom

modate RVs, campers and vehicles hauling trailers.

Our Story

NHCS started out on 2 floors of a completely renovated 18th century barn, eventually expanding to all 3 floors.We have been opened for over 24 years now, and still going strong!

We are so very pleased and flattered to be seeing a 2nd generation of young parents bringing their children in to "experience" a "step back in time" with old fashioned “penny” candy and classic toys that they remember from their childhood!

In addition to the nostalgic items we carry something for everyone such as souvenirs, postcards and greeting cards, unique food lines, inside and outside home decor, Cobble Mountain hammock chairs from Vermont, locally handmade items,wooden clothes drying racks custom crafted in NH, specialty soaps and lotions, candles, wrought iron items made in NH, tee shirts and sweatshirts, Lazy One products, books, braided rugs and mats, pet products, etc, etc.,

We are proud to share our building with a wonderful bakery featuring award winning cakes, cupcakes and pastries as well as custom order cakes for all occasions Batter Up Bakery offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches and wonderful soups during the colder months. BIG RIGS ARE WELCOME! We have plenty of parking in 2 lots to accommodate RVs, campers and vehicles hauling trailers.
