Thank you for embracing The Dark. Our resident creeps felt quite at home and thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming blood-curdling screams and shrieks by our brave visitors. Our first year open was a hit, thanks to our visitors who came from near and far to face their worst nightmares. Please check back on this page for information about The Dark in 2012.

Review on Yelp: "A unique & fun haunt to check out. Proof that scares don't have to be wielding chainsaws or gory blood and guts... not that there's anything wrong with that :) But this different approach was refreshing from the norm. It presented childhood fears along with adult phobias. Each room/set had great detail with different themes. The monsters were into it and the fact that we were a group of 3 made it even scarier. I do not want to spoil the fun for those who go but I will just say this, the freakiest monster I've ever seen in a haunt was there. She was amazing... Having grown up in Chula Vista I am so proud that my hometown has this new attraction to look forward to. No downside to this haunt for me. If anything I just wish it were a bit longer but other than that no other suggestions. I hope it will be a continued tradition for many years to come. Super impressed! Excellent job by all involved."
