misscathyspianolessons.com Teaching the art of playing the piano has been my passion for over 25 years.

I have been a professional piano teacher in San Diego since 1980 and have been teaching students from preschool through adults. I started playing the piano at the age of 7 years old which culminated in me being accepted to the Eastman School of Music. My teachers have included Dr. Grace Trebert from the Eastman School of Music and LaVerne Caton a concert pianist. Several of my students have become

professional musicians themselves. After teaching my son to play the piano I learned what parents go through in trying to get their kids to practice. After this experience, I would much rather be the teacher! I am an accompanist and I have played professionally in San Diego.
