If you have an older central a/c unit, invest in an adjustable thermostat so you can raise the temp during the day while your at work. This will help lower your electric bill.

It's a good time now to Clean both your A/C filter and your dryer vent. Dryer vents cause fires and kill people every year. Keeping your A/C filter clean will help during summer months when your A/C is working hard and will help with utility bills.
