Did you know there is a hidden lounge at Epcot?

As you walk through the winding pathways and stuccoed archways of the Morocco Pavilion, head towards the former Restaurant Marrakesh, which is now the home of the Florida Blue Lounge.

The Florida Blue Lounge is open sporadically through the year and offers guests a place to relax, hydrate, and create a one-of-a-kind craft, in the air-conditioned building, all for free. All you need to do log in to their website and sign up for free Guest Pass and you are in! You can even do this right before walking in.

On our visit, we made personalized mosaic charms, enjoyed some cold drinks, and took full advantage of the cushioned seats to give our feet a break before heading back out again.

Currently, the lounge is open through November 23rd. So if you find yourself at Epcot this month, be sure to check it out!

While Disney destinations and Blackberry Farm, a luxury resort in Tennessee, may not appear to have much in common at first, there is a lot of overlap. On a every Disney Cruise, there are certain things everyone knows, loves, and expects onboard such as amazing Kids Clubs programming, Broadway caliber theatrical shows, and of course, characters.

While those are amazing each and every cruise, there is so much more to discover. By far, the highlight of our cruise last month was .disneyviolinist From the moment we heard her play the first night, we were mesmerized. From that point on, we checked the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to see when and where she would be performing daily so we could be sure to be there.

This awe-inspiring retelling of the Christmas story features a celebrity narrator, 50-piece orchestra, and choir. This popular show tends to fill up quickly but with Candlelight Dining Packages, you can relax with guaranteed seating for the show.

After 5 fun-filled days at Disney, we hopped aboard the Disney Fantasy Cruise Ship to continue the fun for another 5 days!

It’s hard to summarize the experience of a Disney Cruise as there is SO much to do onboard and each family’s experience can be wildly different based on what you like to do.

For those with kids (or kids at heart), there are characters galore and you can spend all day meeting characters.

For those who love games, there are so many opportunities for trivia of all types and interactive games that get the whole family involved! There’s movies, crafts, kids clubs for all ages, Broadway-caliber shows, karaoke, drawing classes, a spa and salon, live music, beverage tastings, cooking demonstrations, swimming, sports, slides, water play areas, and so much more!

Whether it’s your 1st or your 15th cruise, you can have a different experience each time!

While we are deep in the spooky season, winter holidays at Disney are right around the corner.

Between November 29th and December 30th, is the short lived, but fan-favorite EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. During this festival, you can enjoy holiday traditions from around the world, taste seasonal food and drinks from the Holiday Kitchens throughout the park, and listen to festive storytellers.

It’s not too late to get your holiday trip planned!

📆 Although it seems like aways a way, now is a great time to plan next year's holiday trip, while there is the most availability and the best prices.

On May 22, 2025 Epic Universe opens!

Select tickets and packages can be booked beginning October 22nd, along with reservations at the brand new, Universal Helios Grand Hotel, right outside the entrance to Epic!

⚡️BIG NEWS ANNOUNCED⚡️

This month, Disney will begin piloting a new program, Lightning Lane Premier Pass, at both Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California.

Guests of Disney Deluxe Hotels, Disney Deluxe Villas, and Swan and Dolphin Resorts can begin purchasing the very limited amount of Premier Passes on October 30th, up to 7 days before their check-in, at Disney World.

While at Disneyland in California, guests can begin purchasing Lightning Lane Premier Pass up to 2 days before their Theme Park visit.

With Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you do not need to select an arrival window, you simply head to the Lightning Lane, one time per ride, any time you wish!

For those traveling to Disney World or Disneyland during this roll-out phase and through the end of 2024, I will reach out to you directly over the next few days to let you know, and will continue to share information here as it is released.

🌎 Around the World Epcot Challenge, Part 2.

Last solo trip, I tackled food and drinks from 6 countries: Norway, Mexico, UK, France, United States and China.

Today, it was time to finish them up, and this time with family to share in the tasty bites!

We had:
1. Maple Popcorn from Canada
2. Wine from Morocco
3. Lunch at Shiki-Sai in Japan. The kids make-your-own sushi was a bit hit!
4. Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich from Germany
5. Prosecco in Italy

Next time you are at Epcot, if you have the time (and the appetite) to try something from each country, I recommend it. It's a lot of fun!

Last night was a night to celebrate! For the last 12 years, one child or the other has been scared of fireworks, making us need to be in the way back during them or more often, skip them all together.

Not anymore! To celebrate, we booked the Firework Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom and went all out. With unlimited desserts, made to order apple crepes, a cookie decorating station, unlimited juices for the kids, and unlimited beer and wine for the grown ups, we had a blast!

We had a quiet place to sit before the fireworks and enjoy the treats, then five minutes before it started, we were escorted to the viewing area, to watch the show. It was perfect!

25,000 steps later, we did it all, or almost it all, with almost no time waiting in line.

This was my first time using the new Lighting Lane Multi Pass system with my family in the parks. I wanted to try and get the most use out of it I could. Throughout the day, I checked the app to try and modify our times, or get a more preferred ride, and most of the time it worked!

We criss-crossed the park a few times, based on the best Lightning Lane times, but we packed in a lot of fun!

We rode 9 rides! Star Tours, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, Toy Story Mania, Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, Aerosmith, and Tower of Terror, twice!

We had lunch at Sci Fi Drive-In, drinks at Oga's Cantina, and dinner at Roundup Rodeo BBQ.

We watched the Indiana Jones show and ended the night watching Hollywood Studios' nighttime show, Fantasmic!

There was lots of smiling and laughing throughout the day, but this picture may capture best how we all felt at the end of the day!

Did you know that nestled between the Germany Pavilion and the Showcase Lagoon is a glass market where you can make your own glass art?

There are plates, nightlights, trinket holders, and more to choose from at Glaskunst, along with decals, glass pebbles to personalize your work of art.

Once you create your design, you glue down the pebbles and then the cast members will carefully package your item to be fired and fused. It will magically arrive at our home in a few weeks.

It’s a great experience when you need some down time at Epcot, and even better you get your own one-of-a-kind souvenir to remember it.

You can experience all of this and more on a Royal Caribbean cruise. With kids clubs, teen spaces, family areas, adults only areas, a private island and water park, Royal Caribbean has something for everyone on board!

There’s an special endurance challenge at Epcot that some adults participate in.

No, it’s not a Disney marathon or riding Guardians of the Galaxy, over and over again- although that would be fun. It’s the ‘Drinking Around the World” Challenge which entails getting a drink from each of the 11 countries at Epcot in one day.

While I haven’t attempted this particular challenge, on my last solo trip to Disney, I tried to get as many bites or sips from as many countries as I could.

On my last solo trip there, I tackled 6 out of 11 countries and it was all delicious.
1. Viking Coffee from Norway
2. Tacos from Mexico
3. Fish and Chips from the UK
4. Wine from France
5. Turkey leg from United States
6. Dumplings from China

Next time, Canada, Morocco, Japan, Germany, and Italy here I come!

Disney Water Park Fun in 2025!
