Since the Cincy Blues Society’s founding in 1990, the area blues scene has expanded from a handful of bands and clubs with very few national acts touring through, to a vibrant local

scene with over 40 bands, numerous clubs, several yearly blues festivals and multi-act events produced by the Cincy Blues Society as well as other organizations and businesses, and a healthy stream of national touring acts coming through our area. We’re proud that so many of the national acts we’ve had at the Cincy Blues Fest have made this area a return stop for their tours. The Cincy Blues Society is a member-supported, 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization which encourages and facilitates both performance and educational events and projects based around blues music. Our mission is to promote and advance the culture and tradition of Blues music as an original American art form. The Cincy Blues Society is proudly sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council. This Friday starting at 8pm at Fretboard Brewing is a Fundraiser for Ralph Cave of Ralph and The Rhythm Hounds son and daughter in law who were in a serious motorcycle accident this past September 1, 2024 in Delhi.
Don’t Miss This Show!! Ralph & The Rhythm Hounds will be performing their up-tempo modern funky blues rock at Fretboard Brewing Blue Ash on October 25, 2024.
There will be split-the-pot raffles.

Bit of a long post, but please read to the end. This goes to help some very special folks.
Over the last couple of years, I've worked extensively with Ralph and The Rhythm Hounds, during which time I have found Ralph and Noah Cave to be two of the finest players and songwriters I've had the pleasure of being around. Though they have certainly gotten recognition over the years, I think they deserve much more!
Beyond that, though, they are two of the kindest and humblest human beings I've worked with in this business. Real gentlemen, in the truest sense of the word. Michelle and I consider it an absolute honor and pleasure to be working with them on their upcoming records.
Unfortunately, another of Ralph's sons (Ralph Cave III) and his wife were in a motorcycle accident in early September. They spent a month at UC hospital and are still undergoing massive life changes as a result of their injuries.
Ralph and the Rhythm Hounds are scheduled to play Fretboard Brewing next Friday, October 25, and Fretboard has been kind enough to sponsor this as a benefit for Ralph Cave III and his wife. Because the FB algorithm doesn't work so hot with event shares, I'm including the event in the comments.
Please come out and show support for this wonderful family! It will be a great show and an even better cause.
