Check out our latest transformation at Ultimate Airstreams! We took this 2015 27FBT Flying Cloud and gave it a stunning makeover:

🔹Added wedge cushion storage
🔹 Installed a gourmet cabinet
🔹Updated with new upholstery
🔹Redesigned the kitchen with an open shelf sink front, replacing the two curved cabinet doors

These thoughtful updates, including warm laminates and rich upholstery, have completely refreshed the living area, making it more functional and inviting. Sometimes, a few small changes can make a huge difference in how you experience your Airstream!

I was a bit nervous they wouldn't have it done as fast as they said, but sure enough, it was exactly on time. We spent the night in a hotel and the next day were able to pick our 23FBT Globetrotter up with our new window installed. The new window is amazing and brings in such great light. 🔧 Ever wondered why Airstream builds the exterior first? It’s all about creating a sturdy, reliable foundation!

1️⃣ Start at the Bottom: We begin with a steel chassis and add essential components like water tanks and shock absorbers, setting up a low center of gravity for smooth towing.

2️⃣ Assemble the Shell: While the chassis is being prepared, our team assembles the aluminum shell, riveting custom-shaped sheets together to form a strong, load-bearing structure.

3️⃣ Attach the Shell: Once complete, we lift the shell onto the chassis, permanently joining them to create our semi-monocoque superstructure.

4️⃣ Fit Everything Through the Door: With the superstructure in place, we install all furniture and appliances through the entry door, ensuring a perfect fit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We just had a great experience at Ultimate Airstreams in Clackamas, Oregon. Our 2022 Globetrotter 27 FBT had the Girard water heater. It was such a water waster and we like to go to parks where we are boondocking. Ultimate Airstreams changed out our heater for a Truma heater and the difference is amazing! They also installed a Maxxfan in place of our Fantastic fan so now we can vent in or out, variable speeds and soooo quiet! (We hadn’t planned to do this, but Ian Harnish made a gentle suggestion and we are happy we did it). The work was completed in 3 days. The installation is neat and professional. The team was courteous and helpful. We can’t say enough about our experience. Top-notch! We live in San Diego - the trip was worth it."

Did you know? Airstream's iconic journey began with Wally Byam's passion for adventure and innovation in the late 1920s. Starting with a tent-like contraption on a Model T chassis, he refined the design into what would become the first true Airstream travel trailer.
