Disney Cruise Line offers Disney-themed fireworks shows at sea on select voyages, usually during Pirate Night on itineraries that are four nights or longer and sail in the Caribbean and Bahamas. The fireworks are launched from the starboard side of the ship, weather permitting.

What makes Universal Volcano Bay so unique? Krakatau Volcano for one!
Krakatau Volcano, the centerpiece of Universal's Volcano Bay water park, is unique for several reasons:
1. The Krakatau Volcano stands at an impressive 200 feet tall, making it a dominant and visually striking feature of the park.
2. Unlike many other artificial mountains in water parks, Krakatau is fully explorable. Guests can experience the volcano from various perspectives, including riding slides that spiral through its interior, floating through it on lazy rivers, and exploring its interior to meet Vol, an interactive character.
3. It houses several thrilling water slides, including three body slides that start from its summit. It features the Krakatau Water Coaster, which weaves through the volcano's rockwork.
The volcano produces special effects like water eruptions, steam, and geysers from its cauldron.
4. The volcano contributes significantly to the park's immersive Polynesian theme. During the day, large waterfalls flow over its front, creating a spectacular visual effect.
5. The volcano is home to the Ko'okiri Body Plunge, which stands at 125 feet.
6. Krakatau Volcano often features special lighting effects at night, including simulated lava flows, enhancing the park's atmosphere after dark.
Another fun fact is that Volcano Bay does often reach capacity over the summer so on-site guests have a big advantage with EPA access 30 minutes before the park officially opens!

If you're limited to traveling during the summer and considering a Disney trip, I'd strongly suggest visiting Disneyland. The weather is wonderful with cooler mornings that warm up in the afternoon and then cool off in the evening.
During our recent stay at the JW Marriott Anaheim, my family and I had an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the stunning beauty of the hotel and the warm hospitality of the staff. One particular staff member, Maria, went above and beyond by welcoming us with refreshing cold water bottles after our walk back from the parks. Her thoughtfulness made a great impression on us.
As for our accommodation, we stayed in a spacious deluxe room with two queen beds. The bathroom was impressive, featuring a luxurious walk-in shower and a generously-sized soaking tub. A pro tip for fellow travelers – take advantage of the soaking tub after a long day at the parks, especially at night. It's a fantastic way to soothe your tired feet and unwind. The beds were as comfortable as you'd expect from Marriott, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Overall, our experience at the JW Marriott Anaheim was nothing short of exceptional.
