In need of recommendations of water remediation companies within the Claxton/Statesboro area you had a great experience with. Three of the five of our river properties in Claxton had at least one foot of water intrusion throughout the first floor. I do not favor Servpro. Two years ago, a guest caught the log cabin's kitchen on fire. When they came out to evaluate the situation, they gave us great time frames. However, they would not give us an estimate. "We do the job and send you the bill". Even though we have insurance, the adjuster clarified. The bill is mine and the insurance company would decide what they would pay of the bill. The difference between the two our responsibility. I can not operate on those terms. Therefore, I do not want to waste Servpro's time. For the fire I used Rainbow. I was quite satisfied with their service. However, I would like to check out other possible options. The river did not rescind enough for us to get to see the damage until last Wednesday. Even then Michael had to take the tractor to get there. We have removed flooring, began cutting 12 inches from the bottom of the walls to remove sheetrock and wet insulation. We still need to remove kitchen cabinets, etc. The adjustor met with Michael yesterday. The adjustor stated we needed to get them dried out. I am assuming that is with the use of the large fans and equipment the water remediation companies use. Your expertise from similar experiences will be appreciated
