I don’t usually respond to social media nonsense, but I need to set the record straight and protect my restaurants, my employees and confusion about parking in the town center.

First, thanks to Mayor Chronister and the Skipper’s restaurant family, we executed an agreement to use the parking lot between Skippers and Joe Lee’s after 2 pm daily to help with overflow parking due to the construction of the new parking lot in the town center. Please see the picture.

THIS IS A FREE PARKING LOT to be used by customers of the business district.

THIS FREE PARKING LOT IS PAID FOR BY SCHAFER AND THE CITY OF CLEAR LAKE SHORES.

There will be a FREE GOLF CART SHUTTLE to ferry customers to and from this lot. The shuttle will be available Thursday through Saturday night after 5 pm. This FREE SHUTTLE is paid for by Schafers and Lil Outriggers.

The shuttle is for all restaurant and bar customers in the town center business district. The driver can deliver to and pick up from Schafers, Lil Outriggers, Aspen’s, The Brewery, and Okies. Driver TIPS are much appreciated for their efforts. It is a six-person grey cart with FREE SHUTTLE decals in RED COLOR. Please see the picture.

As for some of the trash talk being spread about how my businesses are run or your experiences while frequenting them; if you have a problem with me or my establishments, I invite you to come see me so we can discuss your grievances like adults instead of hiding behind a keyboard and pontificating false information and biased opinions! Yeah, you know who you are, you lil keyboard warriors...

As for customers that don’t get caught up in the nonsense, please continue to frequent Schafers and Lil Outriggers and spread this message on your social media platforms.

Early morning yesterday with Coastal Ice & Water, LLC. at Wildcat Golf Course. 7am sunrise breakfast….. then set up for the tournament to serve our delicious fish tacos!! And a little more of course!

Schafer’s Coastal Bar And Grille, Catering division has been busy this past Month!
Outriggers Silver Bullet spent last Thursday with Tiger Industrial Rentals at the Dow Golf Tournament supporting United Way. Thank you to Tiger Rentals for allowing us to cater for this great event!
Friday we were at the Clear Springs High School Baseball Tournament.
A few other events in February:
Valero Texas City - 3,250 boxed meals Day shift & night shift for the entire plant during turnaround.
Cleer Creek Community Church - 300 meals.
Private Birthday Party in Galveston - 75 people.
Celebration of Life - Buffet Catering.
Clear Lake High School Flairs tournament. Open to the public.
Marathon Contractor - 100 boxed dinner meals day shift & night shift.
Dow Deer Park - 475 Boxed meals for turnaround day shift & night.
Safety Counsel Tailgate event with Ohmstede Industrial.

Oh, and Outriggers Silver Bullet got a nice polish and new decals in the middle of all of it. She's all shiny now 🙂!
