What are the benefits of using a Travel Agent?

I am a travel advisor and I work as a match-maker between my clients and a variety of travel suppliers. This is very different from booking directly from a specific cruise line, hotel, etc.

If you call Princess cruise line to book a cruise, they are not going to tell you to check out Celebrity, because their food is better, and they know you're a foodie. Just like if you contact Mariott Hotel they will not recommend the quaint little boutique hotel down the street which is both better value and much more charming with a local flair. Why would they? Their goal is to sell their products.

Travel advisors are not tied to a brand, we work for our clients. Our ultimate goal is to make you so happy that you will return and book again and hopefully even refer your family and friends.

Travel advisors take countless webinars, we have supplier meetings, and we go on familiarization trips and conventions to meet suppliers and learn about their products. We build relationships with hand-picked suppliers around the world. Suppliers we believe in, and we want to trust taking care of our clients. These relationships often make it possible for us to arrange things that you simply won't be able to do when you purchase your vacation directly from the cruise line, tour operator, or a big-box store.

Cruiselines, tour operators, online travel sites like Expedia, and big-box stores like Costco and BJ's all sell large volumes where you are simply one of many. Personal service is not their strength. When you work with high volume it is impossible to provide personal service to your clients.

Travel advisors are small business owners who work tirelessly to get to know their clients so that they can put their personal touch on your trip and give you the vacation of your dreams.

The Biden administration is lifting pre-departure COVID-19 testing requirements for international travelers to the United States, according to a senior White House official.

Effective Sunday, June 12, those traveling to the U.S. will no longer need a negative COVID-19 test one day before their flight to the country.

Mail delays are impacting when we receive passport applications for processing. Our processing times begin the day we receive your application, not the day you mail it.
Routine service can take up to 18 weeks from the day an application is submitted to the day a new passport is received. The 18-week timeframe includes up to 12 weeks for processing and up to 6 weeks for mailing times on the front and back end.
Expedite service (for an additional $60) can take up to 12 weeks from the day an application is submitted to the day a new passport is received. The 12-week timeframe includes up to 6 weeks for processing and up to 6 weeks for mailing times on the front and back end.
Our processing times (up to 12 weeks for routine; up to 6 weeks for expedite) do not include mailing times. Mail times vary and delays have been significant. Plan ahead.

We would be glad to get you all the quotes & help you need to book your dream trip. We have implemented a policy in order to ensure that we are able to assist you with all your wants and needs.

We now require a non-refundable deposit before we will research and supply you with the best quotes that fit your desires. – If you book with our agency within 30 days of the quote, this deposit is applied to your booking. You are not out any money if you book with our agency.

Why do we do this?? We simply want you to book with us and we do not get paid unless you book with us! We work long hours, travel frequently, and do research to get you the best quote possible for your desired trip. We use our expertise to ensure you will have a seamless trip. We are also available to answer questions, change details, communicate with airlines and hotels, etc – something that is not available if you book with an online booking engine.

Unfortunately, we have found that all too often lately, we are giving all of our information and expertise at no charge and the potential customer then goes on the internet to use the information that was given by us and books with an online booking engine. If you find something online, we will price match, as long as the booking is identical. We require a screen shot with the time and date and what you have found in order to attempt to price match. We DO NOT price match Expedia. Many people don’t see that many independent booking sites have hidden costs within the hotels and airlines --- using our services saves you the unexpected and we will be able to explain every detail of what you are getting.
