We began cruising again on our StarLite Sapphire Dining Yacht out of South Pasadena. Our staff was quick to rebuild the dock and boarding area & we ran our first cruise on Sunday. We have upcoming availability for evening cruises this week on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday out of the St. Pete location. We continue to work towards opening up at our other locations.

Thank you for your patience in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. All of our vessels stayed tied off during the extreme storm surge & are in good condition, although our offices and docks were affected more severely. We are actively working to fix what we can & hope to be back up and running as soon as possible. In the meantime, our offices remain closed and we have limited access to phone lines & email. If you have a previous reservation & we need to cancel any cruises, we will contact you at the information provided in your booking. We will keep you updated as we know more.

Clearing a vessel and engaging with a suspect on a multi-level boat adds new dimensions. “There are a lot of fatal funnels,” Johnson said, referring to the danger zones in and around doorways. “And there are ladders and stairs so it’s not just a 360 view. They have to scan 720 degrees.”

A couple weeks ago deputies from the Marine and Environmental Lands Unit and SWAT Waterborne participated in a training to prepare for worst case scenarios on the water. Read today's issue of Inside the Star for all the details on this exciting training and more.
