Armed school resource officer stayed outside as Florida shooting unfolded, sheriff says

This just bothers me on so many levels..

I’m sure we can all Monday morning quarterback this guy’s situation, but in dealing with law enforcement on a regular basis this is not good..

The school resource deputy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, waited outside the school building as the shooting unfolded last week, officials said.
