UPDATE: Thank you, thank you, thank you to those who called dispatch!! We got the information we needed. You are our eyes and ears out there, so if you see something, say something. CVNP is looking for your help related to an altercation that occurred on Sunday, April 28 between 10:20 and 10:55 am, on the Towpath between Red Lock and Station Road Bridge.
The incident was between a white male on a bicycle and two white males walking with a small Pomeranian type of dog. We are asking for any information about the two males who are in their mid to late 50’s. One of them may have been wearing an article of camouflage clothing. The individual walking the dog had a camo rucksack and both were believed to be wearing dark colored pants.
They were seen an hour later off trail in the wooded area just north and east of Red Lock wearing dark green, short sleeved shirts.
If you were in the area between 10:20am and 4:00pm Sunday (Red Lock Trailhead, the Towpath trail between Red Lock and Station Road or Old Carriage Trail) let us know if you witnessed the altercation or saw the two males with the dog after the incident. Any information you can share may help in the investigation.
