Inbound CSR/Reservationist Job Description
Do you enjoy building relationships with people and helping them with answers to their questions, inquiries and needs? If so, a position as an Inbound Customer Service Representative/Reservationist may be right for you. Inbound Customer Service Representatives communicate with customers and are often the “voice” of their company in that role. They field incoming calls, help answer questions, and solve customer issues often on a wide array of topics. They are essential to ensure overall customer satisfaction. With the need to handle many different tasks beyond just communicating with customers, Inbound Customer Service Representatives must be able to manage time well. They often assist other departments, as well as maintain data and summarize customer inquiries for presentation to management. We are looking for a detail-oriented Reservationist to assist our customers with their booking needs by providing various planning and booking services, including answering customer questions, making suggestions and booking reservations. Typical Duties and Responsibilities. · Answer incoming calls from customers with inquiries about transportation services · Assist various departments in facilitating sales of all services in the company portfolio · Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of transportation options · Making reservations for customers based on their needs and requirements · Helping plan transportation itineraries by suggesting local attractions and places of interest · Checking the availability of transportation accommodations on the customer’s desired travel dates and times · Sending confirmation details to customers and processing payments · Selling and promoting reservation services · Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process · Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages. · Provide support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation · Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings and reservations · Analyze customer issues and assist in resolving within the required time frame · Coordinate with customers and ensure appropriate questioning to identify issues · Manage all customer inquiries and summarize to present to management · Administer and prioritize customer tasks and ensure achievement of all deadlines within the required timeframe · Maintain accuracy of all data and verify the same for all customer services. Inbound Customer Service Representative/Reservationist Requirements · This position requires a high school diploma or GED, but an Associate Degree is preferred · Customer service experience · Excellent written and verbal communications skills · Proficient in Microsoft Office mainly Word and Excel · Data entry experience · Flexible working hours · Clean driving record Experience in sales or in the hospitality industry a plus
