🎉 Exciting News for GCRTA and Northeast Ohio! 🎉
GCRTA has been awarded $800,000 in grant funding through the Ohio Workforce Mobility Partnership Program! These funds, announced by Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Transportation Director Pamela Boratyn, will enhance bus stop waiting areas in job-dense areas and support a study on first mile/last mile Microtransit options in western Cuyahoga and eastern Lorain counties.
As Deputy General Manager Michael J. Schipper shares, "This funding underscores the importance of public transportation to our region." A huge thank you to Governor DeWine, ODOT, and Ohio's leaders for supporting GCRTA's mission to serve Greater Cleveland! 💼🚌

📢 GCRTA Approves Property Sale to Keene Holdings LTD!
The GCRTA Board has approved the sale of 2.9 acres of the Euclid Park-N-Ride facility to Keene Holdings LTD for $145,000. This sale will help Keene Holdings expand their manufacturing capacity, creating new jobs and future growth on St. Clair Ave.
Keene Holdings will also join GCRTA’s Commuter Advantage program, providing pre-tax transit passes for their employees.
