Hamilton Outing Club HOC is Hamilton's largest club and the center of outdoor leadership on campus. We provide rentals, training, and guidance to all outdoor enthusiasts.

The Hamilton Outing Club (HOC) is the largest club on campus. We are Hamilton's home to outdoor leadership. We offer equipment rentals, trip leader training, and advanced instructor courses. Our activities include backpacking, canoeing, kayaking (sea and whitewater), climbing, ice-climbing, winter camping, skiing (Nordic and Tele), and as many other outdoor pursuits as possible. We offer weekend t

rips to the Adirondacks and longer expeditions, including Ecuador, Kenya, Arizona, and the Everglades, during breaks. Some of our annual events include 46 Peaks Weekend in the Fall (September 29-30) and the Banff Mountain Film Festival in the Spring. Throughout the year, we bring speakers and movies to our Monday and Thursday open hours.
