Good morning! What a great day yesterday!
The travel networking meeting was well attended and there were some great suggestions for travel destinations. We met some new potential travelers and were able to explain our policies and procedures. Then in the afternoon, the Hawaii departure meeting was well attended and lots of questions were asked and answered. We are all looking forward to some amazingly warm days.
I talked a lot yesterday! So exciting to see so many excited travelers! Thanks for being an active part of my life! See you on the next adventure!

Safe arrival home very late Friday night two days earlier than originally planned. Why?
1. We avoided ice storms that were predicted for today across northern Ohio and Pennsylvania.
2. The car was packed with so much stuff from the convention, it will take 2 days to unpack.
3. We needed to prepare for the week ahead.
4. I need to make notes on all the meetings I had at the convention…
57 on Sunday
54 on Monday
50 on Tuesday
Grand total of 161 appointments! Not to mention all the people / places I talked to on the Marketplace floor. I collected maps, pins, and many other goodies to help with future trips! At the meals we sat with other tour operators and venue representatives.
5. Tired of hearing my GPS tell me where to go and glad to be on familiar roads again! (Although we’d have been driving in circles without the help of this modern technology)
6. 3 location tours on Saturday
1 location tour on Wednesday on the way to Baltimore
3 location tours on Thursday
7. Ready to sit back and try to process everything!
8. Realized we need to pick up mail, get some groceries, pay bills and do laundry.
9. Time to rest… this was not a vacation! We were up and out by 7:00 am. Each day, walked three blocks to the convention center, and got back to the hotel to sleep each night.
10. Bonus … managed to see two theatre shows! One in Philadelphia and one in Baltimore!
Glad to be home!
