It's been a great week of fun, laughs and adventure! We appreciate all of the love, support and stories from returning snow lovers. We will temporarily close Cloudmont Ski & Golf due to weather conditions but have our fingers crossed to make snow again on Sunday evening Jan 19th and plan on opening Monday 20th morning. Hi friends - I love seeing how this group has continued to flourish over time! It’s such a joy to watch the connections and positivity grow.

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on why this group was originally created. Many groups I’ve encountered are exclusive in nature, which can feel disheartening. That’s why I wanted to build something different—an inclusive community where people come together to enjoy life and connect with one another in a supportive, uplifting environment 🫶🏼

I’ve experienced the frustration of being excluded from groups for not living in Georgia (where my home is) or being removed because someone didn’t like me (whoops).

I never want anyone here to feel like they don’t have a place to belong. This group is about kindness, connection, and fun 🙌🏼

Our one rule has always been: just be a good person. None of us—me or our amazing admins, Ricardo, Julie, Sabrina, Jaime, Krista, Valentina, and Robert—are here to police you. (*Okay, maybe Robert a little since he’s an officer now! 👮🏻‍♀️). We’re here to foster a space where you can enjoy yourself and make meaningful connections.

Feel free to share events you’ve planned, ideas for future gatherings, or even just introduce yourself! In your intro, let us know what kinds of events you love and how you’d like to contribute to the community.

Life is short, so let’s make the most of it. Let’s be good to one another and spread love, not negativity—there’s enough of that in the world already.
