Horse Sleet
WHAT THE HAIL - OR - SLEET HAPPENS
Another Bullwinkle reference? There is cold and then there's cold. Today it was cold. But work goes on and the mustangs were hungry. We still took time to take a few photos of the beauty of the cold. Enjoy.

HIT THE TRAIL!
THE HALF OF IT
The half marathon is off and running! It’s a beautiful morning on the ranch. If you’re not here, you should be.
AFTERNOON DIP
This group of mares came down for a dip in the pond yesterday. It was so hot, I wished I could have joined them.
END OF THE TRAIL
We are almost through mowing, blowing, spraying and marking 13.5 miles of trail in preparation for the MUSTANG RUN on June 9. Most of it we mow with push mowers. If you are wondering what our trails look like, check out this video Clay took when he was using the blower on the trail. This is on the section we call the “Cliffs of Insanity”(a nod to the Princess Bride). You might want to turn the sound off!
Ever wonder what mud sounds like? The mustangs had to wade the creek to get out of the bottom today. Several inches of icy rain made for soggy footing.
LET THE PONIES RUN
It was beautiful tonight watching the Mustangs come through the gap. First it was the birds and the wind and then the sounds of the horses. You should’ve been there.
Some Angels have Country accents 😉
Thank You Mike and Doris Merritt ❤
Our new feed bin has finally arrived. Storing feed for the mustangs just got a whole lot better. Saves time and money all around, not to mention, looks good as well.
