My Heart is at Secrets Playa Mujeres, Mexico
It took me over five years to be able to have the courage to post how special my late husband’s sunset spiritual ceremony at Secrets Playa Mujeres was. Before his passing I promised to celebrate with him in spirit at this beautiful hotel that he loved so much. Mauricio Martinez and Maria Thomas enabled my promise to him to come to fruition. The beautiful ceremony conducted by two Shaman incorporated traditions, symbols and rituals that were meaningful and heartfelt for and celebrated my late legend. My heart was overwhelmed by love and memories.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana - happy clients

Judy and Maria,

If anyone is on the fence about whether to go to the new Secrets® Tides Resort in Punta Cana, just do it.

It is a beautiful resort with beautiful people on staff. Yes, there are still improvements to come the longer the resort is open, but management is doing a fabulous job of staying on top of matters.

Transportation to the resort was great, just the two of us in the van. After a delay in leaving the airport in Baltimore, this was a plus to not stop at several resorts along the way. Check-in was flawless. We were served a refreshing glass of champagne which was needed after the travel. Was escorted to our king suite by a friendly bellman. The room was beautiful and modern. The restaurants were very well maintained and staff friendly, but many are still learning to step up the pace. We didn’t find an issue with this learning experience for the employees. Kudos to all the staff at the buffet; the food was excellent flavor and the selection and presentation were very pleasant. So nice to have such choices for breakfast, like grilled fish daily, roasted chicken, turkey, pork, or beef. Just to name a few. Also grilled vegetables for breakfast. Can you tell this writer doesn’t eat normal breakfast items? Of all the AI we have visited in the past, this was the most superior buffet. This is on food taste and quality. The staff at the buffet was very friendly and attentive.

Can’t forget the beautiful property! Lots of area to walk at the resort and the beach is nice and wide to continue getting steps in for the day.

Our travel dates happened to be three weeks after the opening so occupancy was not high so we never had waits at the restaurants.

The Amstar representatives at the airport and the resort were very helpful also. Way to go!

Maria and Judy are the best gals to get you to your destination. We trust them to navigate us along the way.
