🍤Lunch at Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill at Port Canaveral. You’ll want to visit here for their upper deck waterfront views, which include perfect shots of launches, and their food. We enjoyed a shrimp po boy and their seafood roll. It’s like a lobster roll but includes shrimp and scallops too!

Brunch at The Tiny Turtle Caribbean fusion restaurant. The Sofrito Burrito is local famous, it’s a must try! On Sundays they do brunch so we also had to get the biscuits and gravy!

🐢We hope the turtles got the memo that it's leap year and they can't start nesting until Friday this year🤣

But for real, nesting season starts March 1 so follow these steps, as well as keep your flashlights off on the beach at night!

Did you know that Sea Turtle Nesting Season begins in just 5 DAYS?!? March 1st is the official start of the season. To help the sea turtles, remember to take all your trash with you from the beach, fill in all holes and flatten sand castles when your day at the beach is over to make it easy on the turtles to enter and leave the beach to lay their eggs.

🚀First launch and landing of 2024!

Tonight’s SpaceX Ovzon 3 launch was a little overcast so no arc, but still able to see takeoff and landing of the booster.

SpaceX announced they're aiming for 144 launches this year, that's 12 a month, so chances are good that you'll see one when you come stay with us!

🚀Tonight's Falcon Heavy launch and 2 boosters landing behind the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier. You can see the 2 boosters separate at the top of the arc and climb higher before returning to land about 8 min after liftoff. That's the nearly full moon lighting things up far right🌕

And hopefully we'll get another launch around 11 tonight, two in one day!

☕️Finally got a chance to try Foxtail Coffee Co. - Cocoa Beach, and boy are we fans!

We tried several of their holiday flavored lattes like egg nog and holiday cookie and a peppermint mocha cold brew. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Lunch at the Port upstairs at Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill. The seafood roll is like a lobster roll but also has shrimp and scallops in it. The shrimp Po boy is my favorite around here. And you can go wrong with some mahi tacos!

🐢Happy March, which means it's sea turtle nesting season here! Sea Turtle season runs from March 1 to Oct 31. Any day now we'll start seeing mama tracks on the beach where they come up to lay their eggs, typically at night. If you head to the beach in the mornings you may see the tracks of the moms heading up towards the dunes, or maybe a stake with marker if the turtle trackers have located it, but don't get too close to the nest or mess with it! Then in 45-75 days their hatchlings will surface and head back out to sea.
