Lobster rolls are a pure indulgence, and I’m thrilled to have found an amazing one right here at Oyster Shooters Raw Bar & Grill in Cocoa Village! 😍

This is their Connecticut Lobster Roll: warm butter-poached lobster topped with rich lobster bisque, all served on a butter-toasted split-top brioche bun. If you love lobster, this is a must-try!

We had a whirlwind of a week with back-to-back food tours, followed by Hurricane Milton (thankfully, we came through unscathed), and then the Craft Fair weekend in Cocoa Village! Milton Update #1 | 10/6/2024 @ 6 PM

Due to Hurricane Milton, all Brevard Public Schools and offices will be closed Wednesday, 10/09, and Thursday, 10/10.

At this time, all schools are expected to be open tomorrow, Monday, 10/07, and Tuesday, 10/08. Schools are also expected to be open on Friday, 10/11.

As the storm moves closer, a more detailed forecast will be made available. We will update families if anything changes.

The district will continue to work collaboratively with Brevard County Emergency Operations and other local agencies to monitor the storm’s progress and determine the best course of action for the safety of our students, staff, and families.

**The goal was to get you the information we knew today quickly. We work with the Brevard County EOC to make the best/most informed decisions. A more precise understanding of where the storm is projected to make landfall will make a significant difference in the impacts for our county. As stated, we will continue to monitor the situation and adjust accordingly.

"We really enjoyed our time with Halim! The food was tasty and the information he shared about the cute town of Cocoa was very interesting! The bbq, the balsamic croissant with curry chicken salad were so good, but the gator bites were my favorite! We were so full we took home the drunken noodles and had them for dinner! Yum! We were four generations aged 2-80 and we highly recommend Halim’s food tour!"
