This is our third year participating in the July 4th parade. We decorated the Segways with bubbles and each rider wore a tie-dyed Mr Bubbles T shirt. The riders sprayed the crowds along the route with our bubbles guns. Good times we’re had by everyone

Although we don’t open until May 13th, the weather was so phenomenal today that we decided to do a little Segway training. 85 degrees! I don’t recall ever seeing people swimming in Lake Coeur d’Alene in April.

We’ve been playing around with artificial intelligence website Deep AI, which is capable of generating images from text. I asked that it develop an image with a group of seniors riding Segways and this is what it produced in about 2 seconds. Both entertaining and amazing at what this technology can do. Maybe even a bit scary?

During the off season, we work on recharging our own batteries and growing our Tour operations. We recently came across a wholesale travel company that I want to share with our travel customers for some smoking deals!

It’s a wrap! We ended our season today with two special guests, Mark and Diane. They were celebrating their 18th anniversary and we were honored that they decided to spend it on a Segway tour with us. It was a fantastic way for us to close our season out. Congratulations Mark and Diane.

It’s Opening Day! We are officially open for the 2022 season. We took our guides Heidi, Renee and Linda out for a practice run to check out the route and to refresh their Segway legs. Everything is ready to go. Now we just need the weather gods to cooperate. Come glide with us

It’s that time again when we start gearing up for the new season. We will officially open on May 14th. We are looking to hire a couple Tour Guides this year.

Tour CDA is hiring Segway Tour Guides for the 2022 season. This is a seasonal job, with training starting on May 1st and continuing through mid October. We operate 7 days a week from 9am-5pm.

This position is a great fit for a college student. Candidates need to have flexibility in scheduling, as work days are determined by booked reservations. Candidates should enjoy working outdoors and interacting with a wide variety of guests from around the world. An extrovert personality is a plus!

The job involves leading tours of up to 8 people on Segway Personal Transporters through the downtown CDA area while narrating the tour on a wireless system. Safety of our guests is the paramount aspect of this job at all times. Guides are responsible for maintain equipment, giving safety demonstrations, checking guests in, completing liability waivers and photography. Having a good knowledge of CDA is beneficial as guides are often asked for dinning recommendations along with other activities in the area, but is not required.
