Update……. The road is OPEN
Highway 8 east of Grenada has a bridge with issues and the road is closed there at Providence Road. I’ve included detour instructions below. Safe travels

Yesterday Hope Outdoors hosted a wading/single pole, no-electronics benefit crappie tournament. They used the lodge as their headquarters and weigh-in location.
Nineteen teams participated in the tournament. The team of Eric Wilson and Chris Spencer brought in a 12.6 pound 7 fish stringer for the win. There was a tie for big fish with a top weight of 2.2 pounds of these Grenada Lake crappie. This benefit raised $2700 to go toward the ministry of Hope Outdoors. If you are unfamiliar with this group, they take special needs individuals and help them experience the thrill of the great outdoors.
