Highway 8 east of Grenada has a bridge with issues and the road is closed there at Providence Road. I’ve included detour instructions below. Safe travels

Yesterday Hope Outdoors hosted a wading/single pole, no-electronics benefit crappie tournament. They used the lodge as their headquarters and weigh-in location.
Nineteen teams participated in the tournament. The team of Eric Wilson and Chris Spencer brought in a 12.6 pound 7 fish stringer for the win. There was a tie for big fish with a top weight of 2.2 pounds of these Grenada Lake crappie. This benefit raised $2700 to go toward the ministry of Hope Outdoors. If you are unfamiliar with this group, they take special needs individuals and help them experience the thrill of the great outdoors. We renovated the Parker’s Grocery building (at the intersection of Gums & Graysport) into a new, comfortable and inviting space. The main unit has three bedrooms that each feature two full beds. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the unit. Fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, endless hot water, DirecTv and more are included. The upstairs unit is two bedroom (each with 2 full beds), fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, etc. The twin unit has two twin beds, a kitchenette and washer/dryer access. The king suite has a kitchenette and private patio. All units have separate outside seating areas as well as access to a cleaning station, charcoal grill, propane fire pit and free parking. The entire lodge will accommodate 14+ and can be reserved as a whole, which is great for family reunions, special events and weekend getaways. Call or message us for more information.
