And checked in to one of Disneyland's good neighbor hotels, The Anaheim Hotel, just steps away from the Magic ✨

🏖St. Maarten Travel Guide🏖

St. Maarten, a small Caribbean island shared by the French and Dutch is the perfect Caribbean island for a spring break getaway. This island offers a unique blend of cultures, stunning beaches, luxury resorts, lively nightlife, and diverse dining options.

Fun Facts:
💰Currency: Netherlands Antillean guilder (ANG) on the Dutch side and the Euro (€) on the French side. US dollars are also widely accepted.
🚨Safety: St. Maarten is generally safe for tourists, but like any destination, it's wise to exercise caution, especially at night or in less crowded areas.
🇸🇽Dual Nationality: The island is unique for being split into two territories: the French side (Saint-Martin) is part of France, while the Dutch side (Sint Maarten) is a part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

✈My Favorite part of the island: Maho Beach (Dutch Side)
Famous for its proximity to the airport, Maho Beach is where visitors can get up-close views of large planes coming in for landing. It's a thrilling experience to watch planes fly directly over you. It's also a nice spot to relax, with bars and restaurants along the beach.

Spending Christmas at Disney World is magical! Here are my five top activities to make the most of the holiday season there:

1. Explore EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays

The Candlelight Processional, with a celebrity narrator, orchestra, and choir, is a must-see. And make sure to do the cookie stroll and try all of the yummy cookies at the festival booths. 🍪

Taking the time to reflect on such an amazing trip and checking off a major bucket list item. This trip I got to visit my 2nd of the 7 NEW World Wonders!🌎
1. The Colosseum- Rome, Italy ✅
2. Chichén Itzá- Yucatán, Mexico ✅

🏛️ This ancient Mayan city was a center of culture, astronomy, and architecture over 1,000 years ago and on our excursion we learned the history behind it.

🌟 El Castillo (Temple of Kukulkán): This iconic pyramid isn’t just a sight to behold—it’s a calendar! With 365 steps (one for each day of the year), it reflects the Mayan mastery of astronomy and timekeeping. Twice a year, during the equinox, the shadow of a serpent slithers down its steps. Incredible, right? 🐍

⚽ The Great Ball Court: The largest in Mesoamerica, this is where Mayans played pok-ta-pok, a game tied to their beliefs about life, death, and the cosmos.

So grateful for this experience and can’t wait to check off some more bucket list items soon! ✈️
