Travel Tip for Today: Protect your neck.

Neck cushions are great, especially for longer flights. They support your head and neck, which can stop you from getting any aches or pains. But be aware of the type you purchase. Some are so thick and/or less flexible that they actually are more uncomfortable and can create more neck challenges since it fills the space between your neck and the headrest. Travel Tip for Today: Your room may have a unique clothes dryer.

Some hotel bathrooms have heated towel racks. Should you decide to not send your clothes out for cleaning to save money and/or time, you can hand wash your outfit in the sink and then use your heated towel rack for drying. Happy and Safe Travels!

Travel Tip for Today: Flight canceled while at the airport? Call Customer Service.

If you get to the airport, or you land from one flight waiting for another, and find that your flight is canceled, instead of standing in a long line with others wanting the next available flight as well, immediately call the airline’s customer service number. You can still stand in line to speak with an airport representative, but it is nice to have a backup plan to speak with someone who can assist you, hopefully faster, to get you on the next flight. Travel Tip for Today: Take individual pictures of your pets before you leave for a trip and give/send them to the pet nanny.

Should Muffy or Scruffy get loose while you are on a trip, the pet nanny will have some pictures readily available that he/she can post on various pet lost and found websites in a jiffy. The pictures can also be downloaded and printed off to post on trees and telephone poles as well. So if you are unable to be easily reached, the pet nanny can act fast on your behalf. And the sooner the better! This will assist the pet to be found and brought home sooner. Happy and Safe Travels! ✈️ 🛳

Travel Tip for Today: Bring a pashmina/shawl in your carry-on bag.
Carry a pashmina/shawl with you for all of your travels. Not only will it keep you warm in the airplane and airport, but you can use it discretely to cover your nose area should you sit next to someone who may not smell like a bouquet of flowers (been there, experienced that! LOL). Additionally, pashminas/shawls can be rolled up and used as a small pillow. They are easy to pack and take up very little room in your carry-on bag. Happy and Safe Travels!
