DANCE Aggieland is Dance Arts Society's second annual dance convention to be held at Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas on February 28th and March 1. DANCE Aggieland will be a two day event held at the Memorial Student Center where dancers from all over can come and take nine classes from our highly trained professional instructors from all over the state. We have searched far a
nd wide to invite instructors who we know will be challenging for the dancers as well as provide them with a rewarding experience. We are excited to have each of our teachers and have full faith in their ability to teach your students. Each class is designed to challenge and help develop dancers to be better in all genres. Classes will be in styles of Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, and Improv. There will be three levels of dancing for each participant to choose from; Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. These levels are a guideline for participants to put themselves into a level. Dancers are encouraged to be honest with themselves concerning their level and how they can challenge themselves to be better. The schedule for DANCE Aggieland can be found on our website! On the day of, each participant will also recieve a pamphlet that includes the classes offered, the teachers teaching those classes, and all information concerning DANCE Aggieland. The convention will be made available to dancers from ages 6 and up. Each participant under the age of 18 must have an adult supervisor at ALL times while at DANCE Aggieland. This is a mandatory request for all groups. Failure to comply will result in your removal from the program and dismissal for the day. At registration, supervisors will be given a paper to fill out and will be able to list all dancers they will be in charge of. This form must be kept on file in our records in case anything should happen. Supervisors will also recieve a FREE wristband to watch their participants.
