First day above treeline on Pikes Peak in a few weeks. Stu and Rachel went with us today. We wasn't sure how far we could make it, but they decided to go anyways. We made it to mile 17 at a place called the Bottomless Pit.

We were the last up to this point.

We came back down to a place called the Devil's Playground. There is a short hike to the best views...it is short, but it is at 13k feet elevation, so it is signifcant. It's a hike folks will remember. The views from here are my favorite.

Thanks Stu and Rachel for going for it to see as much as they could see. Great views today.

Recent views. Some snow in Colorado Springs, but it's largely melted away. Pikes Peak has plenty and will continue throughout the winter! Let us take you there!
