I am a huge supporter of marriage equality and have performed many same s*x weddings. My goal is to create a ceremony that is more of an experience of love, and not

just an event. It is a ceremony that is written to celebrate your unique story of love…a story that you will co-create with me and will reflect your values and beliefs. Let’s have a conversation about your plans, then if we are on the same page, set up a time to meet in person… no obligation, to discuss your big day. If there is distance, well, now we can Zoom or FaceTime too!

Since 2008 I have performed ceremonies in the Puget Sound area, but now I need to close my business. I will be moving out of state and currently packing up and will not be available for any future ceremonies. It had been a privilege to serve all the couples over these years. Blessings to you all!

Congratulations to Jennifer and Richard, married today in 32 degree weather and even some snowflakes! Jennifer said she wasn’t cold at all during the ceremony, something I‘ve noticed over the years when it’s chilly outside! The joy of the heart must warm the body! And, having a 2-22-2022 wedding, wasn’t even on purpose, just the right day! Blessings to you both!

My Story

My name is Rev. Dr. Cynthia Curry. I create and perform both simple and customized ceremonies, religious or secular, straight and same s*x weddings. The death of my mother and the creation of her Memorial Service inspired me to become a Certified Funeral and Memorial Celebrant through The Celebrant Institute in 2008. While in training, I expanded my studies to become a Wedding Celebrant and found that work to be joyful and meaningful. In the following years, I desired to work deeper and continued my studies and in 2013 was Ordained as an Interfaith-Inter-Spiritual Minister through One Spirit Learning Alliance in New York. Later, I trained to become a Chaplain and recently received my Doctor of Divinity through The University of Theology and Spirituality. I am very open and understanding to the various paths and am non-judgmental and respectful when it comes to your path. Feel free to call or text me and we can talk about your plans!
