We have been enjoying the autumn scenery and a few wonderful hikes in this transition season. First significant snowfall since Going to the Sun Road closed for the season. We welcome the changes in the season. We are still offering custom driving tours and will again offer our winter activities in the park starting late November. Please join us. A very special trip for one of our repeat clients. This is his third expedition. 5 days and 4 nights. The weather was incredible as we explored the upper McDonald valley. Fresh Bear activity, Wolverine tracks, Wolf and Mountain Lion tracks. It gives you perspective and clarity with focus on taking care of yourself. Did you know that Glacier National Park has some of the oldest exposed rock in North America? Marias Pass offers a look into earths history to a time when the earth was covered by a shallow sea nearly 1.2 Billion years ago. It was before life existed outside of the water and the earths atmosphere was mostly carbon dioxide. Geology can be incredible when we start imagining earths timeline. Join us for travel through time following the layers of sedimentary rock forming our history on planet earth.
