Last week, Contemporaries hosted our first team building event of the year! We were excited to welcome back Rachel Carey-McElwaney of Emergent Lotus Coaching, who worked with us on stress relief in her session, “An Introduction to Mindfulness: A Practical Approach to Stress Management”. We all learned about the concept and science behind mindfulness, how mindfulness helps regulate stress and improve focus, and some easy mindfulness exercises you can incorporate into your workday to stay calm and present. One lucky attendee won our raffle and everyone enjoyed lunch on us!
