2026 Trip Information!
Quite a few people have requested information on my upcoming 2026 trips to Hawaii, Norway, and the Christmas Markets in Germany and Austria. As I mentioned earlier, we are still finalizing the details and as soon as the trip information is available, I will send that out. Pricing for 2026 is a little slow coming out. So, I am hopeful that it will be in the next couple of weeks. Keep watching! The 9 Day Classic Iceland for September 23-October 1, 2026, is available though.

So many of you have asked about my 2026 tour schedule and I have been working on that for a while. But sometimes details are slow to come together for a number of reasons. This year the tour providers' pricing has been slow to come out and even though I have known what I wanted to do, it is slow in coming together. However, in this post I wanted to share what is on the table and as soon as they are ready for booking, I will get that info out there. One of the tours (9 Day Classic Iceland) is ready and I will have those details out tomorrow night. But here is what we are doing in 2026:
April 2026 -- 9 Day Classic Hawaii (the Big Island, Oahu and Maui)
May 2026 -- The Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National
Parks with Las Vegas.
September 2026 -- 9 Day Classic Iceland
October 2026 -- Norway on Holland America's Rotterdam
End of November/early December -- Christmas Market tour in
Germany and Austria.
And for those waiting on our Christmastime in New York tour December 15-18, 2025, that information will be out tomorrow afternoon. Thank you all for your interest. This is pretty ambitious schedule! But some great experiences await! So, think about joining us on one or more of these adventures.

Well, I had no plans to go back to Scotland and Ireland in 2025. Our trip in July was awesome, but it would have 2026 or later for me to plan another trip. However, an opportunity fell into my lap about a week ago and I decided to take it. So, I have 20 spots for the 11-day Taste of Scotland and Ireland Tour, October 16-27, 2025. We did the 10-day version in July. This upcoming tour includes a stop in Galway and an extra night in Dublin. There is an Early Commitment Discount of 5% for those who pay their deposit by January 6, 2025. It is a fantastic time to go to Scotland and Ireland. Good Thursday evening Facebook friends. I wanted to update you all on my tours and trips for 2025. So, here goes:
Grand Tetons & Yellowstone, June 3, 2025 --SOLD OUT.
Essence of Italy (Venice & Tuscany), June 25, 2025 --2 spots left
7 Night Alaska Cruise, August 15, 2025 -- could take 4 more people
Danube Waltz Viking River Cruise, September 9, 2025 -- 2 Standard
F Staterooms left, a few French Balconies and Veranda
Staterooms.
Christmas In New York, December 13-16, 2025 -- reservations
accepted beginning in March 2025.
I had also planned and advertised a Canadian Maritimes tour for July 2025, but we decided to delay that until a later time. As you can see, we have been blessed with great response to these offerings. For those few spots left, we hope to fill those up and move to other things soon. Update to the Alaska cruise update! So, all 12 cabins that I had reserved for the cruise are gone. However, I can still book at the same rate with onboard credit and then transfer into the group. I don't know how long and how many balcony cabins that I can get at this rate. It's a one at a time situation. If you want to go, get your reservation form in as soon as possible. I have sent lots of info out, but I can send more. Join us next August on the Anthem of the Seas as we cruise to Alaska.

After filling about 3 dozen requests for information for the August 15-22, 2025, cruise, we are down to 3 cabins left in the original group of reserved cabins. I had great response to my post about an Alaska cruise August 15-22, 2025. Thank you all for that! I have been able to get a few balcony cabins $478 per couple less than the total listed on my cruise flyer. There are only 4 or 5 for the lower price of $1609 per person. After those are gone, the cost will be the $1848.72 that I have on the flyer. So, if you would like to go, this is a great price for a balcony cabin on Deck 8 or 9. These will first come first served. I will need the reservation form to reserve as opposed to a verbal.

For several years I have wanted to offer a cruise to Alaska. For one reason or another, we have not been able to schedule that during the late spring or summer months. I recently had an opportunity to reserve 12 balcony cabins on Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas for August 15-22, 2025. That might not be an ideal time for some, but it should be a great time to go on an Alaska cruise since the summer crowds will have waned and the temps will start to fall some. For me, it was my only chance for a while. So, if you'd like to join us for a 7-night cruise from Seattle that features calls at Juneau, Skagway and Victoria, BC, along with cruising Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier and two cruising days, then send me a message. You an email me also at [email protected]. I will be able to hold these cabins for a limited amount of time. It would be great for us to have about 22 of our friends join us!

I am partnering with the Primetimers at the Landmark Church in Montgomery for 3-night tour to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter in Kentucky along with a History & Sightseeing Tour in Cincinnati and lunch at historic Findley Hall. The group will spend one night on the return home in Nashville and be able to attend the Grand Ole Opry. The group will leave from Montgomery on Wednesday, September 25 and return on Saturday, September 28. Some of us will join the trip in Nashville on the way to Kentucky. I posted the information below a couple of nights ago. This will be a beautiful tour to some wonderful places, scenery and people. This tour and time of the year (temps in the 70s while we sweat in the 90s here in the south) is very popular and in high demand. For that reason, my tour provider is very anxious for me to demonstrate that I can fill the spaces I have reserved. I imagine they are being pressured by the hotels and bus provider and therefore the anxiousness. So, I want to encourage those who are interested to jump in with us so we can secure the space and fill that tour. The deposit is $300 per person and the final payment won't be due until May 2025.
