We have had lots of inquiries about CWP classes. We have not offered any since the COVID 19 pandemic started. However, we are hoping to begin scheduling classes (smaller) in July....starting with evening classes. If you are interested in a class on July 14-15, 2020, please PM us so we can hold a space for you. Thanks for your patience and we hope you stay safe.

Greetings, everyone. Our travel schedule has settled down and we are going to offer a couple of CWP classes in the next couple of months. The dates are May 18 and June 15. The classes will be limited to 8 students. We will update our website (calendar) this weekend. This is good video that demonstrates why it is important to shoot until your threat is down. Note the round that hit the perp while he was crouched down (you can see the down from his vest come out). Even with that hit, he was able to continue firing. Friends, we have begun to schedule South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit Classes for 2017. The following classes have been scheduled:

* January 28, 2017: SC CWP Class. Limited to 10 students. Range Qualification will be Sunday, January 29. Application and payment ($110.00) must be received by January 25 in order to reserve a space in the class. 1/7/16 - 5 Spaces left in the class.

* February 25, 2017: SC CWP Class. Limited to 10 students. Range Qualification will be Sunday, February 22. Application and payment ($110.00) must be received by March 4 in order to reserve a space in the class.

* March 25, 2017: SC CWP Class. Limited to 10 students. Range Qualification will be Sunday, March 26. Application and payment ($110.00) must be received by March 22 in order to reserve a space in the class.

A "good guy with a gun." An important fact in this incident is that the good guy continuously trained and practiced his marksmanship skills as an active competitive shooter. Southern Fi****ms Training, LLC., believes that EVERYONE has the right to self defense and personal protection. If you are interested in buying a handgun for protection or are wanting to learn how to use a handgun, we recommend our Introductory Course. This class (for individuals) covers the basics of handgun safety and marksmanship. Students will have an opportunity to try a variety of handguns to get a feel of which type would best suit their needs. The Introductory Handgun class is intended for the novice shooter and is a perfect preparation for the SC Concealed Weapons Permit Class. Our mission is to assist anyone with their training needs in a safe and controlled environment.

Due to the relocation to larger offices, SFT will not be scheduling Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) courses until after July 4. Stay tuned to FaceBook and our website as the schedule becomes available.
