n public speaking, judging, directing, producing, emceeing, and wardrobe consulting, to assist you in making your pageant package a well rounded presentation. I offer individual pageant instruction in every area from interview to what accessories work best for an opening number. Keep in mind one person may not be able to meet all of your important needs. I have a wide variety of professional referrals and resources to give you the most expert advice and help make your tough decision making with confidence. While standing in the winner's circle certainly is glorious, the art of pageant preparation at Gowns & Crowns far exceeds satin banners, rhinestone tiaras, and golden trophies. Learning to be your best for life regardless of the outcome of any competition is critical, and at Gowns & Crowns we consider being your best a crowning achievement within itself. On July 6, 2009, I began a journey that would turn into one of the most life changing adventures of my career. On this day Discovery Entertainment out of Los Angeles afforded me the opportunity to begin filming a 13 episode docu-series high lighting my professional coaching business Gowns and Crowns. The series followed my life as a pageant coach along with my assistants as we prepare beauty pageant contestants to compete for local, state, national and international pageants for four months. My show was named KING OF THE CROWN and aired on TLC. KING OF THE CROWN can still be seen on select streaming services today. Amazon Prime, Hulu, TLC to Go, ITunes. To say this was a leap of faith is an understatement. To insure I was fully committed to this project it would require me to leave a 20 year position as Promotions Director for six radio stations in the midlands. While my career has spanned over 30 years with over 3000 success stories to my name this little reality show that could gave me the once and life time chance to turn my part time passion into a full time position. I will forever be grateful of the good friends and fake friends I have met on this journey and can’t wait to see where the next adventure takes me. Stay Tuned!
