Find photogenic places and spots using Instagram.

Read a history book about the place you are visiting.
Get to know local customs before you go.
Be patient.
Wake up early to avoid crowds.
Observe daily life around you.
Laugh at yourself sometimes.
Slow down to enjoy your trip.
Volunteer occasionally.
Take lots of epic travel photos.
Don't get discouraged.
Tip cab drivers 15% to 20% of the fare.
If you use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft, you're not obligated to tip the driver, but it's considerate to give 1 to 2 for a short trip or more for a long-haul ride.
