Working the night shift. Among other sensors, we use the latest night vision technology to clear our route home after the purple martin tours, or for our night fishing charters. For those boaters running at top speed with no lights, after a few Buds, we see you. 😂

Lake Murray Yacht Racing Association holds an overnight race during the June full moon. Here is one shot from the Pilot Cove Catalina30 after rounding the mark at Bomb Island…
Total distance is about 25 miles on the short course; the race committee selects the course before the start of the race based on the wind forecast. Last night was the first in a the past three years where the winds were high enough to reach hull speed, the limit of the hull design through the water.
