Good Morning Everyone,

We will be OPEN today and tomorrow - October 5th & 6th!

Today looks like a great day to be on the water! Unfortunately, due to the slow flow of the river, we will be stopping all trips at 12 to allow for everyone to have a good float and not feel rushed!

If you’re looking to get on the water today or tomorrow PLEASE give us a call and we will get you booked!

We will be OPEN today, Sunday, September 29th! The water went up some but there will still be plenty of spots to stop at!

It will be a little colder than usual so if this is something your group is not comfortable with, give us a call and we can get you rescheduled!

Good Morning Everyone,

Unfortunately, due to the chance of thunderstorms and the low temperatures we have decided to close today, Saturday, September 28th. We will begin contacting reservations very shortly.

As soon as we have a clearer picture for tomorrow we will keep everyone updated!

We are OPEN today, Sunday, September 22nd!

Due to low water levels our last put in for both the 5 mile canoe and kayak trip and the tube trip will be at 12 PM.

Good Morning Everyone,

Unfortunately due to prior obligations and low water levels, River Rat’s will be on a different schedule than posted!

We are not running our tube trip for today only. (Next weekend will most likely be the last weekend for that trip!)

Our 5 mile canoe and kayak trips last put-in will leave the office at 11 AM!

We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause and hope everyone can still make it on the river!

Great news! We are OPEN today, Sunday, September 15th. We will begin at 9 to let the sun come out some!

Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain and thunderstorm chances we will be CLOSED Saturday, September 14th.

We will begin contacting reservations very shortly to reschedule or give refunds!

We are currently monitoring the weather for this weekend, and unfortunately due to the uncertainty with how much and when we will get the rain, we will decide each morning if we are able to run that day. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause!

Good Morning Everyone,

We would like to thank everyone for a great Labor Day 2024 out on the scenic Duck River. We enjoyed seeing everybody that came out and allowed us to get them out on the water. Labor Day is the last major holiday of our season and with that we are updating our hours for the rest of the season.

We will remain open for weekends only (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) starting this week.

We look forward to seeing everyone next weekend!

Good Morning Everyone,

We are OPEN today, Sunday, September 1st! We have Canoes, Kayaks, and Tandem Kayaks available!

They are calling for spotty showers throughout the day so if this doesn’t sound like something your group would want to be in, give us a call and we can get you rescheduled!

We are open tomorrow on Labor Day as well! Give us a call if you’re looking to get on the water today or tomorrow and we will get you out there!!

Good Morning Everyone,

We are OPEN today, Saturday, August 17th! We have very few kayaks available and some canoes! No tandems however! Plenty of Tubes available today!

We are expecting rain between 7 & 8 AM so this may push on first shuttle back a few minutes, but other than that we are expecting a great day!

Just give us a call and we will get you on the river!!

Good Morning Everyone,

We will be OPEN today, Sunday, August 4th; however, the river is too high to safely run our tube float! The water went up overnight so it is going to be on the higher side for our 5 mile trip as well!

We will begin calling tube trip reservations shortly, and if your group is uncomfortable with higher water levels - give the office a call and we will get everyone taken care of!

Good Morning Everyone,

We are OPEN today, Saturday August 3rd! We are currently all out of rentals and cannot take on many personal shuttle walk-ins.

Upstream rose almost 4 feet last night and will most likely impact our water levels for tomorrow.
We will keep an eye on this and give everyone an update when possible!

We will be OPEN today, August 2nd; however, we are out of tubes for the day! We also cannot schedule anymore canoes or kayaks until after 11 AM.

Unfortunately the water is still much too high to safely allow paddlers on the water! River Rats will be CLOSED today, August 1st, due to high unsafe waters. We will begin calling shortly to refund/reschedule reservations.
