Traveling America off the beaten path and highlighting the things that make us more American than anything else, our diversity. The idea for this page was born during a journey to get help with dealing with neighborhood harassment where I live. The climate and attitude of my neighbors make home not feel like it should. I am an outcast because of lies believed and the police refuse to help me strai
ghten them out. It's really frustrating; as much as I want to move forward from the situation both neighbors and the police prevent that from occurring and instead point to me as being the problem. All of it is over nothing I've done wrong or illegal except stand up for myself and done my best to not accept neighbors' continuing to believe false things about me. When I'm on the road, I feel free and full of life and purpose and being a person who likes new experiences going new places and meeting new people invigorate me. I've been unjustly typecast in my neighborhood, and I don't get any of that negativity when I'm interacting with stranger-friends I meet along the way. We're all on a journey in life and when paths cross there is usually a reason for it. Pay attention and by being present you'll find that everyone you meet has a story to share or is there to inform you of something you didn't know. Each day is an opportunity to learn something new, like traveling down a route you've never driven. You know you're on pavement, but you never know what's around the next bend. That's what makes living exciting and worth living.
